The Regenerative Power of Heart Intelligence: Restoring Balance, Harmony and Resilience with the HeartMath System (20 CE Credits)
with Bruce Cryer, Global Director, HeartMath Healthcare
Join us in Umbria, Italy, with Bruce Cryer for a week of regeneration and inspiration. As a health care provider or family care-giver you understand the tremendous pressures to provide a healing environment for clients, patients, and family members while also maintaining personal balance and optimal health. For millennia people have understood there is a source of power and intelligence within the human heart that can transform our lives. Science is now providing the validation. HeartMath has become globally recognized for its scientific foundation, clinical outcomes, heart rhythm feedback technology, and practical techniques. You will learn tools that can be used to restore balance, harmony and resilience in your life, from the inside out.
Course Objectives:
By the end of this program you will be able to:
1. Explain ancient wisdom around the role of the heart in diverse cultures and how 21st century science is validating and refining these understandings.
2. Understand the role of the autonomic nervous system in emotional self-regulation
3. Explain the “emotional landscape” inside each human being, and how to maximize positive emotion and optimal performance, while diminishing negative emotion and low performance
4. Explain the core concepts of coherence and resilience and how to leverage them to maximize cognitive function and well-being
5. Stop the drain of “overcare” without diminishing the power of caring
6. Practice techniques to develop and nurture authentic relationships
7. Explain specific methods for coherence-building to patients, clients and/or family members
8. Create a Plan for integrating key coherence-building tools into self care and patient care

Pronto Seminars
PRONTO SEMINARS organizes and hosts continuing education (CE and CME) workshops and retreats in Italy. Distinguished faculty, participants and their families come from all over the world to enjoy high quality experiential content at a relaxed pace. We provide an affordable way to combine work, travel and relaxation.
Our classes are small and designed so that your afternoons and evenings are free to wander through the countryside, have a wonderful meal, or visit a museum. Our participants tell us that learning in this environment, at a relaxed pace, allows for a full integration of new material and practices.
We are known for creating an intimate setting where presenters are available in a less formal way and where colleagues from around the globe become friends and get to know each other while enjoying the delights of Italy. This model provides a contrast to large conferences, and our participants have encouraged us to continue in this direction.
In September 2012 we are looking forward to enjoying Tuscany and Umbria! Our venues are nestled in the hills, "off the beaten path", yet only 15 minutes by car from historic centers.
English is the main language of our workshops. Space is limited.
